Welcome to BatoBazar. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the BatoBazar website, mobile application, products, and related services.

By accessing BatoBazar, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About BatoBazar

BatoBazar is an online shopping platform operating in Nepal. We provide customers with access to products offered through our website and mobile application.

2. User Accounts

Some BatoBazar services require you to create an account.

When creating or using an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and current information.
Keep your password confidential.
Not use another person's account without authorization.
Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We may suspend or restrict accounts that are used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms.

3. Products and Product Information

We try to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices, and availability.

However, product images may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, device display, packaging changes, or manufacturer updates.

If we discover a significant error in a product's price, description, or availability after an order is placed, we may contact you before processing the order.

4. Prices

Product prices are displayed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR/Rs.) unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without prior notice. A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted, except where there is an obvious pricing error or another circumstance permitted by applicable law.

Delivery charges and other applicable charges, if any, will be shown during checkout or communicated before order confirmation.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted.

We may confirm, reject, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including when:

A product is unavailable.
Incorrect pricing or product information was displayed.
Payment cannot be verified.
Delivery information is incomplete or incorrect.
We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
We cannot deliver to the requested location.

If you have already paid for an order that we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded according to our refund procedures and applicable law.

6. Payments

BatoBazar may support payment methods such as Cash on Delivery (COD), digital wallets, online payment services, cards, bank payments, or other available methods.

Available payment methods may vary by product, location, order value, or service availability.

Payments processed by third-party payment providers may also be subject to the provider's terms and policies.

BatoBazar does not intentionally store complete card credentials where payments are securely handled by authorized third-party payment processors.

7. Delivery

Customers must provide accurate recipient, telephone, and delivery-address information.

Estimated delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances such as weather, transportation disruptions, holidays, high order volumes, remote locations, or other events outside our reasonable control.

Customers should inspect packages and products within a reasonable period after delivery and report significant problems promptly.

8. Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation before an order has been dispatched or otherwise entered a stage where cancellation is no longer reasonably possible.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may instead be handled under the applicable return/refund policy.

BatoBazar may cancel an order in circumstances described in these Terms.

9. Returns, Refunds and Replacements

Return, refund, and replacement eligibility depends on the product, condition of the item, reason for the request, and applicable law.

Products may potentially qualify for return or replacement where, for example:

The wrong product was delivered.
The product arrived damaged.
The product has a verified manufacturing defect.
The delivered product materially differs from its description.

Certain products may not be returnable after opening or use where appropriate for hygiene, safety, customization, perishability, or other legitimate reasons, subject to applicable consumer law.

Customers may be required to provide photographs, videos, packaging, invoices, or other reasonable evidence when reporting a problem.

Any separate Return & Refund Policy published by BatoBazar should be read together with these Terms.

10. Warranty

Products covered by a manufacturer, importer, distributor, or seller warranty will be subject to the applicable warranty conditions.

Warranty periods and coverage may vary between products.

Damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, accidents, improper installation, or normal wear and tear may not be covered, subject to applicable law and the applicable warranty.

11. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their BatoBazar account and associated personal data through the account-deletion method provided by BatoBazar.

Certain information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required, including for accounting, taxation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, and transaction records.

12. Acceptable Use

You must not use BatoBazar to:

Commit fraud or other unlawful activities.
Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account.
Introduce malicious software or interfere with the operation of our services.
Submit intentionally false information or fraudulent orders.
Abuse promotions, refunds, returns, or payment systems.
Violate the rights of BatoBazar or another person.

We may restrict or terminate access where there is a serious or repeated violation of these Terms.

13. Intellectual Property

BatoBazar's branding, logos, website/app design, original content, graphics, and other protected materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without appropriate permission.

Third-party trademarks, product names, photographs, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.

14. Third-Party Services

BatoBazar may use third-party services for payments, delivery, analytics, hosting, maps, communications, and other functions.

We are not responsible for independent third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.

15. Promotions and Discount Codes

Discounts, coupons, promotional offers, and campaigns may have additional eligibility requirements, expiration dates, product restrictions, or usage limits.

We may reject fraudulent or unauthorized use of promotional offers.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BatoBazar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of the platform where such liability may lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable Nepalese law.
